Documents to switch to 5 year route FLR(M) from 10 year route FLR(FP)

Post by jane2018 » Wed Aug 01, 2018 12:53 pm

Hi everybody,

I recently obtained a leave to remain as a spouse of UK citizen on 10 year route. (The reason why not 5 yo route was my immigration status.) Now I want to switch into 5 year route. Because my current leave is as spouse I am not sure whether I need to resubmit spousal relationship evidence, I understand that I need the letters of correspondence and photos to prove that relationships are subsisting but do I need marriage certificate, divorce decree from previous marriage or not? I submitted them with my previous application as a spouse(which was granted). We have a Uk citizen child together, do I need to submit documents proving the relationship with my child-doctor's letters, school etc? (again I submitted all of that evidence with my previous application). It is quite clear that you don't need to do that if you extend your status like extending 5 y route after 2,5 years but what if you switch from one spousal route to another?
I know about English and financial requirements.
