Visa completes 5 year but total stay is less can I apply for extension ?

My Tier 2 ICT visa expires in Feb-2019 for a total duration of 5 year.
I was given Tier 2 ICT in Feb-2014 (back then BRP didn't exist) and I travelled UK after 9 months in Nov-2014.
Now in Feb-2019, my visa completes the duration of 5 years but my stay in UK will be 4yr and 3 months, so I want to know if I can apply for extension and what are the chances of my visa getting extended beyond Feb-2019 ?

What visa do you believe you might qualify for (Tier 4, tier 1....)?

I think (please correct if wrong) Tier 4 is for Student so can't apply, neither Tier 1, so may be another category in Tier 2.

To apply for tier 2 General you have to serve the 12 lonyhs cooling off period outside the UK.

The only exception is if you earn in excess of £159,600pa.
