Tier 4 Visa application form query

The UK tier 4 Visa application form asks if you have worked for any media organization, army or government services. I have worked as a journalist for sometime and have mentioned the same in my application. How does that effect my application?

It doesn't. The types of work they are asking about is a fairly broad list, and many applicants will have worked for such organisations. It includes military service, so in some countries almost every male applicant will be confirming yes.
