Hi if you don’t mind, is this the smallest of the big 4?

With my previous prediction, which I made in March 2018, about the government removing nurses from the Tier2 restricted list coming true 8) , below is my latest prediction.
The cutoff for this month will come down to be normal again at 21 points. If not in this month, then surely in the next month.
Also, just to make it extra clear, not everyone applying for a job in the UK is on this forum. So just because people below 30 points are not posting on this forum or are still awaiting results means that the cutoff will be higher. Many a times, people are on waiting because their applications are under review. Also, sometimes the applications may be rejected because of other reasons than the cutoff point.
So everyone have patience, the points will come down to 21. :) :D 8)

Hi everyone,

I received an email from my HR team today saying that they have recently advertised the same job title as me with a 5k increase. They believe that the previous resident labour market test, that they were using to support the application for a restricted Certificate of sponsorship for myself, may now be invalid. My restricted COS visa was approved this week, however they are unsure whether they can still use it?

My other question is, if my role has gained an increase in salary with new positions advertised, do I need to re apply for the role and apply for COS again?

My apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this question in. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Tanya

Just got good news from my recruiter. Big 4 application been successful, non-everything. My recruiter told me that Big 4 has huge back log of candidates to get back to with those news so it might take some time, guys have some patience and you'll get your own good news.

Congrats everyone!
Yes my recruiter (big4) also informed me the same that all the applications are been approved for this month.

Can members stop trying to work out who the employers are by asking random cryptic questions. I will lock this topic if it continues!!!

21 points, from my reading of the Tier 2 guidance and the RCOS allocation guide from the Home Office, is the number given when the number of applicstions is less than the number of certificates available (so everyone in that month’s panel gets through)

Given how high the demand has been for COS this year, the points may not fall to 21 but it’s looking good for this month and subsequent months to be at a similar low number. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting - even if it doesn’t go as low as 21, a cutoff in the 20s or so would still be incredible news for so many people

RLMT is 20 points!
As per latest updated HO document,
This page tells you how to score the attribute points for the Tier 2 (General) category
of the points-based system if a job passes the resident labour market test (RLMT).
You can award 30 points for sponsorship if:
• the other requirements explained elsewhere in this guidance are met
• the sponsor has met the requirements of the RLMT before assigning a
certificate of sponsorship (CoS)
• an exemption from the RLMT applies

Is my understanding is right or....Kindly clarify, Tq

Finally COS granted at 36 points. Chartered Accountant - Big 4 employer, Non-SOL Non-milk round, Non-NHS. The wait was 8 months long and this really tested my patience. This is my first post here. I can understand the pain we all have gone through these past 8 months. I used to see people posting their approvals every month & used to wonder if ever I'd be able to post my approval too. All those who are waiting, don't worry you all will go through this month or next month surely. Just have faith.

Thanks to moderators for keeping this alive. You guys are doing a great job :D

You are looking at the post RCoS allocation and assignment points and the Tier 2 general worker guidance notes.

As this topic is ONLY for RCoS allocations and points (pre visa application), it is 20 points for RLTM.

See page 130 in the Tier 2 Sponsor guidance notes.

Hi Guys,

Any update for 30K, No NHS, No Shortage Occupation.
When was the RLMT for your job done? Instead of just posting the same question over and over again, you could provide more details, so that someone can at least tell or predict that sooner or later you would get your RCOS.
I suspect that provided your RLMT was done recently, you would get your RCOS approved, if not in this month then definitely in the next.
