Hi All,
Just looking for a little help as my appointment for ILR is coming up in under two weeks and I've filled out the form and gathered all my details. Just want to double check all my evidence is okay.
So, just for a little background I am applying on the 5 year route spouse visa with a SET M application- no children/dependents. My husband is a UK born citizen, I'm originally from the USA and we are currently living in the UK and applying in person at the Glasgow Centre.
Below is the evidence I have for the application:
2 x passport sized photos of me
1x passport photo of spouse
2 x current passports, mine and spouse
2 x old passports, mine and spouse (We have both renewed our passport within the last five years)
1 x biometric residence permit, mine
2 x birth certificates, mine and spouse
1 x NI letter, mine
1 x marriage certificate
1 x Life in the UK Test pass letter
The following for both myself and my spouse:
6 months worth of bank statements from current employer- printed and stamped
6 months worth of statements for joint and separate savings account- printed and stamped (note we are not relying on cash savings to meet the financial requirement, but I am including these any way)
Letter from current employer detailing employment/salary etc
Employment contracts
6 months worth of payslips
Most recent p60
Letter from spouse's previous employer stating leaving date- left job in January and started new job in Feb- he has payslips from Feb to July (6 in total)
Correspondence:
Joint Mortgage in Principle, dated November 2017
Joint electric bill, dated July 2017
Joint electric bill, dated Feb 2016
Joint council tax bills dated:
- March 2016 (covering 04/2016 - 01/2017)
- March 2017 (covering 04/2017 - 01/2018)
- March 2018 (covering 04/2018 - 01/2019)
- June 2018 (covering 07/2018 - 02/2019)- set up direct debit in May 2018 and was issued new bill
Letter from the bank to me, dated July 2018
Credit card offer from bank to spouse, dated November 2017
Letter from the bank to spouse, dated May 2018
Doctor's letter to me, dated May 2016
I realise that might be too much? But want to be safe just in case?
I was looking over the checklist form and there's something called 'evidence of continuous residence in the UK'- am I to submit anything for this or is this for the points based visas? A bit confused as I think correspondence would cover this?
Any help anyone could provide would be insanely welcome.
Thanks in advance- this forum has already been so helpful!
