how to cancel online ILR application (in person premium service)

Post by zeebaltistani » Sun Aug 12, 2018 8:10 pm

Hi all,

I am on tier 2 general and now applying for IRL. I filled online application and booked in person premium appointment (£2999) for 20th September 2018. After appointment I realised that I made a mistake in the form by answer no to this question
“Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?”
In payment confirmation email its clearly mentioned that I can’t change my application details. But I don’t see any option to cancel my appointment both on my application and in the email sent to me after appointment. So what do you recommend, shall i go with new application without cancelling this one or is there any way to cancel this, so that i can get full refund. Any help in this regard would be really appreciated.

Correct it by hand in pen on the printout. Should not be an issue. No need to cancel and start again!!!

thanks for your reply.

i realised that based on this question there are few more asking:
Reason you lived there
Date you lived there to
Date you lived there from
Country you lived in

Do you still think that i don't need to cancel my application? Its online application, which i will print and take with me and i don't have any manual form with me.

Complete by hand as I have said and if asked, explain you misunderstood question.

As CR001 said print the online completed application form and them amend it by pencil and take with you on your appointment, explain them during your appointment if necessary.... no need to fill a manual form again .

Fees usually is non-refundable if full online application form is submitted in case of cancellation of application.
