Urgent-Visa application from the US

Dear all,

Can I apply for a tier 2 visa from the US if I am not a US citizen or permanent resident. Do I need to go back to my home country to apply? I am on student visa in the US.

You can apply from any country where you have legal residence and where you are not there as a visitor.
