Ireland Study Visa refusal and appeal

Hi,
I am from Mumbai, India.

My Study Visa for Ireland got rejected on 27 july 2018 due to below reasons

1. Application based on 2 loan... education loan of 20 lakhs and 6 lakhs personal loan. Visa officer is not satisfied with given loan to saving ratio.

2. Little funds in bank account.

Now I had 2 option apply for fresh or appeal the decision.
I filed an appeal on 10 Augs. I have cleared the loan of 6 lakhs and have shown more funds.

How much time will appeal take. I have My college starting on 10th spetember. What are the chances that they will alter the previous decision. Did I made mistake by choosing appeal option?

Any help with this is highly appreciated.

Yes, I got my appeal approved within 5 days of appeal application.

I'm glad it all worked out well in the end. My advice to people submitting visa application to Ireland is to read the weekly published decision on the INIS website, there're some very useful info in there. Being aware of what they're looking will always help in filing a good visa application.
