ILR salary threshold, maternity leave& baby

Post by RMM1 » Sun Aug 19, 2018 3:34 am

Hello,
Iam on a Tier 2 sponsored visa which expires next year in June (that will be 6years). I am due to start my maternity leave the 2nd week of October 2018 and at the time i will not be able to meet the salary threshold. My salary is changing from end of November, after which I will be able to meet the threshold and intend to apply for my ILR, however I will be on maternity leave then.

Due to the work maternity pay plan, I will only get my full pay for the 1st 7weeks of my maternity leave (then 50%afterwards) so my November payslip may not reflect my full salary.

So my question is could I still apply if my work can write a letter for me showing my new gross salary when I get the pay rise in November or i will still get a refusal?

Also I intend not to include the baby (who is due mid October) on my application so I can apply for their citizenship after i get my ILR, is this still ok?
Thanks in advance
