This is very unfair behaviour to fully process the new children application in 4 months, and still hold the backlog for other childrens for more than 17 months.

Hi All

I paid fee for my minor child and received following email today, with these details. However I cannot see any forms in Additional Information tabs. Can anyone advise?

The Citizenship Certificate Fee is being processed and we require further information from you.

The information that we require will be available when you log onto the INIS Online portal at inisonline.jahs.ie and follow these instructions:

Go to the My Forms section
You will find your form in the 'Additional Information Required' tab
Open the form
You will find our requirements for further information within the form in a box called 'Further information Required'
Upload documents or your information as based on the request
Click submit.
When we receive the requested information from you, your Citizenship Certificate Fee will be processed further

Email them back and explain it.
INISonline has been problematic lately.

Hello,
Wondering if applying on behalf of minor that turns 18 in 6 months, I assume that the 200€ fee still applies even if process is naturalisation is granted after they turn 18 due to process delay?
And what about the exemption from the ceremony?

Thanks!

I sent an inquiry via email with a similar question last fall. I was told that minor applications are treated as such throughout the entire process, regardless of whether the child turns 18 in the interim. This would indicate that the fee would remain the same, as would the exemption from the ceremony.

I sent a minor application in May 2023. E-vetting for her in Feb 2024. Since the e-vetting, there has been zero movement. I sent a couple of emails since then, but only canned response saying that they are working blah blah blah.

Super frustrating to have zero visibility.

Does anyone know the steps after acknowledgement for applications for minors? I understand that there's no e-vetting, but does that mean the next communication after acknowledgement is for payment? If so, would the timeline be a bit shorter as a decision would occur when an adult applicant would start the e-vetting step? I'm just not sure what I'm waiting for anymore...

I had applied for my minor child's naturalization via postal method on 28/09/2023. Got the 1st letter on 10/01/2024. Yesterday got a letter to pay EUR200 fees towards naturalization. To pay the fees we need to create an account on INIS website and upload a recent photo and copy of passport biometric page. Hope this helps..

I had applied for my daughter yesterday(12/06/2024) via Online.

Do we know the current timelines taken for child naturalisation applications?
