Spouse visa - financial requirements help

Hi, can someone give me a quick reply about the financial requirements, please? I'm a British citizen and married for 8 years to a Thai woman. We have two young children who are dual citizens of Thailand and the UK. My question is, for all of us to move to the UK how much do I need to earn for 6 months for her to qualify for a spouse visa? I've heard a lot of conflicting advice including from a lawyer in Thailand that I need to earn a salary of 24,800 pounds and show 6 months of payslips before we can apply. Do I need to calculate the financial requirement including the 2 children or not? They both have British passports. I appreciate any advice on this matter.

£18,600 per annum is the financial requirement. British children are EXCLUDED from the calculation. 6 months payslips and bank statements is mandatory yes.
