Curtailment letter timeline

Quick question...

Does anyone have experience of how long the HO usually takes to issue a curtailment letter after receiving notice of relationship breakdown?

I know the curtailment itself is usually for 60 days, but how efficient are the HO at issuing this? Will it matter if only one partner has let them know or will they first write to the other partner to confirm the relationship breakdown?

PS) I'm asking to see if there is enough time between submitting a letter to the HO and receiving the curtailment letter to complete a divorce in between.

A divorce in the UK can take many months.

Curtailment letters have no set timescale, they are sent when they get sent. Some get them within a couple of weeks or months, others get them after a few months.
