Tier 2 dependant maintenance proof advice

Post by Venki8 » Wed Aug 29, 2018 1:46 am

Hi
Long story short, I've just got my ILR under tier 2 general 5 yr route. Now my wife still needs to complete 3 more yrs for her ILR.

now the problem is I didn't maintain £630 for 90 days for my wife's extension (assuming once I got ILR it would automatically entitle her to extend her visa as I did with no maintenance issues!! now I realize I've been silly)

So the question/problem is

Can a letter from her bank in India stating that the amount equivalent to £630 has been maintained in her account for the last 90 days be enough to do the job?

Kindly let me know asap please.

thank you

Yes, it can. The money can be from your or her accounts and can be combined from more than 1 bank account. But the true copy of bank statement is still required.
