Premium Centre Dates

Post by Ifor Williams » Mon Sep 10, 2018 9:00 am

Hi, my wife’s spousal visa is set to expire on 19th October, but I can only get an appointment at one of the Premium Centres for the 22nd October.

Is there any leeway with regards the application, or must it be submitted/ appointment made for a date before the visa expires?

You can submit application by post. No need to worry about if you cannot make a date for premium service.

Keep searching, check all the centres and if you still can't get an appointment that you want then you will have to apply by post. You need to apply before the visa expires.

You generally can get an appointment from today + 3 or 4 weeks.

Try at 12pm today and see if you can get an appointment.

Another member made an online application for FLR M but the appointment they could get was after expiry. There was a lot of discussions if this would cause a problem but there is a rule that if an Online Application has been submitted, it is accepted from that date.

The member had their appointment this week so looking out for a response on that one.

But for now, keep closing your browser and try again. The appointments get booked up like hot cakes!

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.
