Case ID different! Please Help!

Post by LSI1503 » Thu Jun 28, 2018 12:39 pm

Hello guys,

I have got a biometric letter today and I found my case reference on acknowledgment email and biometric letter is different.

As I wrote a topic, I applied my application on 16/05
payment done and received an acknowledgment email 31/05
And AGAIN visa fee paid on 19/06

I guess my solicitor applied my application without any mention to me.....
But before I act something with solicitor I just want to make sure it can be happen.

Anyone know or have experience that 2 different reference number on acknowledgment email and biometric letter?

Thank you for any reply.

You should call EEA helpline to find out, they will tell you what’s going on...
If that’s home Office mistake , you will get a refund...

Apply again before get a decision

Post by LSI1503 » Thu Sep 13, 2018 7:07 pm

Hello,

I received my all documents, passport and brp which i already had back yesterday without decision letter.

So now I don't know my application is accepted or refused.

But normally if application is accepted HO won't send old brp back.

So I think mine is refused because I received my old brp as well.....

I want to apply again ASAP.

My question is,
Is it ok to apply new application before i received a decision letter?

My plan is make a new application and if I get positive decision letter, i will request to cancel my new application.

Please give me any advice..!
Thank you.

If your previous BRP card was a visa issued under the UK immigration rules and still valid, it would be returned. EEA EFM is issued under completely different rules.

Also, as you applied through a solicitor based on your previous posts and you only got your documents back yesterday, suggest either wait a few more days or ask your solicitor.

I have got a new BRP but still no decision letter.

In case someone also haven't got any decision letter, I want to share my experience.

Once your all documents back but no decision letter, contact to DX delivery.

Provide them your name, registered address and post code then they can check whether you have any item on the system or not.
If it is on the system ask your tracking number.

I am so happy to get through this process.
