Indefinite leave to remain but now got 3 years prison sentence with the chance of being deported.

Post by beabrown17 » Fri Sep 21, 2018 8:50 pm

My partner of 2 years came to the UK in 2008 and got ILR as he fled his home county Turkey becaue of the government as they had killed his family.... he now In 2018 got a 3 year prison sentence for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Now 3 weeks into his sentence he has recived a letter saying he could be looking at getting deported.

We have 1 child together an he has 2 more from a previous relationship. We are not living together so he's classed as homeless. He dosent have a job and hes never claimed beifits.

What are his chance of not being deported?
If he is how long dose it likely take for this to happen?
Will he have to serve rest if his sentence in prison iver in Turkey ?
