Change of jobs just before Spouse visa application - same company

Hi guys,

Long story short I'm a British national living and working in the UK and my soon-to-be wife will be applying for a UK Spouse visa approx. a month after we get married in November.

I would be her sponsor and have been with my company for 22 months, however am considering applying for another role on higher pay within the same company.

My question is whether this will negatively affect the application?
