PBS dependent extension while main applicant on ILR

Hi,
This post has the answer I'm looking for but I just want to check if the reply is still valid as the latest guidance is from July 2018. I'm moving to ILR, and my wife (on tier 2 PBS dependent) needs to extend her visa. Specifically I want to know if we can use my bank statement as maintenance evidence for her application, as she won't be able to comply with the 90 days requirement by the time we need to apply for her visa.
