Indefinite leave to remain

Post by skal » Tue Oct 09, 2018 9:46 am

Hi,

I am in the preparing my application for ILR submission. I had a quick question:
- I got my first entry to Tier 2 clearance on 7 Nov 2013, which means i am eligible to apply for 5 year settlement route from 7 Nov 2018. However, when i got my entry clearance i was already in the UK on Tier 4 visa. My job was due to start on 1 Jan 2014, so i went to see my family for 3 weeks in december 2013. I have not gone beyond the restriction of 180 days in that year but i wonder if this is an allowable absence?

Many thanks for your time and help!

This is allowed. As this absent is before you start job, you are even not necessary to mention them.
