Email from HO , Please Help

Anyone know how long it takes for the B1 English qualifications to be sent out? I need it to arrive the latest on Friday, my test is on Tuesday. I also paid for the enhanced delivery. How long did it take for your certificate to arrive guys?

All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 10th October 18, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.

U received above email 9th,nov2018 but they did not inform u that HO sent u a letter on 27th,oct 2018 so it means above email was an auto response and they working on ur file before that date they sent u first email.Bcos ur 2nd email was acctually sent by caseworker/staff telling u about sending letter on 27th oct. They only got the certificate today. Sent them prepaid special delivery envelope as well. Hopefully hear back soon from them. Gonna email them within like 10 days if no reply till then

Yeah ive sent the first email and the response was the auto response, my second email was couple of days after as i knew the first reply was auto so i tried to get a better response, on the second email they mentioned letter being sent to me and once i said i have not received anything thats when the staff i think emailed back to me to say they let the caseworker know i havent received any letters.

You were going to send your second email whats happened? Did you get a response? Im looking at the October timeline and i can see some people who applied first week of October have started receiving their approvals already. You should be getting urs soon i guess. I applied on the 9th of October so i guess i have another week to wait depending on the document requested of course.

Yeah ive sent the first email and the response was the auto response, my second email was couple of days after as i knew the first reply was auto so i tried to get a better response, on the second email they mentioned letter being sent to me and once i said i have not received anything thats when the staff i think emailed back to me to say they let the caseworker know i havent received any letters.
my observation only,When they ask something missing or information,usually they make quick decision after receiving relevant information they ask,hope u will hear soon good news

just wanting to describe my experience with emailing the home office. I have applied for BC via NCS and paper copy on 29.9.2018.

As I have not received a decision I decided to email them on 5.11.2018. The next day I received an email saying the usual "Thank you for your e-mail. A communication will be posted to you, this can take up to three weeks for you to receive."

Now, I don't know if this is a coincidence, but I received my approval letter within the week i.e. 5 days later on Saturday, 9th November.

Well, my impression was 6 months too, but when I went for my appointment at the National Checking Service in Manchester, I was told it usually takes around 6-8 weeks, which is in keeping with what I have experienced. Is the difference in processing duration a regional variation?

I am in the same situation as i got the same reply as your 3rd email on 31th October (5 days after your 3rd email on 25th Oct). However my follow up emails didn’t get any further reply. The only reply that i had was at the beginning of Nov, they said:i can only reitterate that “a communication letter will be posted to you and it will take up to three weeks”.

Seems i am a bit stuck and not sure if i should follow up another email today...

Communication will be posted to you , that means you have to wait for 21 days, if I am not mistaken but it will reach you by 15 days roughly. Wish you good luck mate. I am at work right now when will come home will state all my emails in date order and their replies.

I actually have got help from a solicitor filling up the form and providing needed documents.Oh so it s likely HO sent it to solicitor and May b your solicitor have it. check with him.I do not think i am missing anything to be honest. If the letter was send out to me on the 27th october which is one week after my biometrics enrolled. Do you think it could actually be the decision posted to me?In email they saying We are waiting for you to provide this information so u should provide information they need to make decision so my opinion just send them these information for ur quick decision I cant think of anything else. And their email responses seems to be not right anyway? Well reply them via email u did not receive any letter if possible resend to me

Gladly you emailed them, i have seen so many got refused because of no delivery of letters. you found out sooner. I would keep emailing them about their letter delivery every 5 working day. You are lucky you found out about this unknown letter they sent to you.

Yeah well i couldnt hold myself and ive just sent one more email to say i still have not received anything. I know its only being a couple of days but worst case i have a email confirmation to say i have tried to get missing letter.

its not regional since all applications are sent to same building, dept 4. and people from my country have been approved within a month too so that argument fails too.

But i do think all cases go through some basic procedure/protocols of screening before being assigned to any case worker. ( immigration history , dbs , penalties , hmrc issues etc)

I did my premium visa twice at croydon and every time it says on the screen , case is going through ( finger print checks , police checks etc and then it says case under consideration )

also depends on case workers load.. if my case is with someone who has to do 20 cases ahead of mine in date order ,it can take more time ,meanwhile a case worker who just came back from holiday and is given 20 fresh cases of October and yours happens to be in the first 5 of them 20 , means yours will be dealt earlier than September or august.

i think this time-line category on this forum just makes us anxious and we compare our dates with others.

Indeed. I think it depends on your luck, you could either be the first or the last. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do speed up the process. They should introduce fast track application! Anyways I really hope my decisions comes soon, waiting game is absolutely disgusting! Peaking out for a postman everyday is pathetic! Haha!

May be it's got something to do with our country of origin. I have no clue why mine is delayed as well as yours. Even though they said a communication will be sent to me when i emaled them last week monday. I will email again tommorrow to understand whats going on. I am tired of waiting.
