Ilr application refund issue

Post by Pager07 » Wed Oct 17, 2018 6:10 am

Good evening,
I had booked an ILR premium service appointment in early September of this year. It was not an online appointment. Moreover, due to unfortunate circumstances, I had to cancel it. The appointment was well over 1 week away when I canceled it. Since then I have received an email saying, I will be refunded my fee within 4 weeks. However, it has been 4 weeks and I have not received any refund.

I am not sure who to contact regarding this matter. I would really appreciate any help; providing me some pointers on what to do next.

Thank You
Pager

The Home Office's refund system is quite archaic.

Send an email to PSCAppointmentRefunds@homeoffice.gov.uk

with the following information.

Name:
D.O.B:
Dependants:
Nationality:
Merchant ID:
World pay reference:
Date of Transaction:
Card Holder name:
Appointment booking reference number:
Current UK address:
Contact number:
This email address should only be used to request refunds of Premium Service Centre (PSC) application fees.

If your e-mail relates to a refund of an application fee and or Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) payment made outside the United Kingdom we are not able to respond and must advise that you re-direct your enquiry to either our customer service enquiry line on 0300 123 2241 or where you made your original payment.

If your e-mail relates to a refund of an application fee made by post, we are not able to respond and must advise you to write into the address shown on the application in order to request a refund for your postal application or you can contact our payment team at:

Charging Operations
Level 4
Vulcan house
Sheffield
S3 8WA

If your e-mail relates to any other enquiry, we’re sorry but we are not able to respond and must advise that you re-direct your enquiry via one of our established contact routes. Please visit https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi for our contact details.
It takes up to 10 working days to get a non-automated reply and it can take an additional 28days after you get that reply to get a refund. I have seen cases where it has taken beyond 9 weeks.
