IHS Payment for Tier 2 PBS Dependent Visa extension

Post by ritu2018 » Wed Oct 17, 2018 8:44 pm

Hello

My husband has ILR and I am going to apply for my Tier 2 PBS Dependent Visa extension.

Both me and my husband are non-EU nationals and my husband originally came to the UK as Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff.

I have written to ApplyOnlineE-Support[at]homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and they have told me that I don't have to answer the question "Are you applying to join or remain with a person already in the UK?"

If I proceed with this information then my required IHS payment is 0.0 (exempt based on Visa route). Can you please confirm if this is correct and I can proceed to submit my application based on this figure of 0.0 as shown on IHS website?

Alternatively, should I enter details of my husband (who holds ILR) and put his Visa expiry date as Nov 2021 (3 years from now).

Thanks a lot for your help.

Documents for Tier 2 PBS Dependent Visa Extension

Post by ritu2018 » Wed Oct 17, 2018 9:17 pm

Hello

My husband has ILR and I am going to apply for my Tier 2 PBS Dependent Visa extension.

Both me and my husband are non-EU nationals and my husband originally came to the UK as Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff.

I am submitting following documents, please can you let me know if something is missing:
- Bank statements (4 statements, one for each of the last 4 months) showing consistent balance > £630
- Travel documents, passport and current BRP
- 2 Photos
- Current council tax bill
- IHS number, once I get clarification on uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/ihs- ... l#p1693369
- Will do biometrics once get notification to do that.

I am not including my marriage certificate - is that okay or do I need to include that?

Thanks.

You need to enter your spouses details as you have stated and pay £600 IHS.

Thanks. I hope Home Office is aware of this glitch in IHS website and will understand why I included my husband's details (who has ILR) and why I only entered 3 years from now.

Can you please help me with the documents as well:
- Bank statements (4 statements, one for each of the last 4 months) showing consistent balance > £630
- Travel documents, passport and current BRP
- 2 Photos
- Current council tax bill
- IHS number, based on 3 years for husband Visa
- Will do biometrics once get notification to do that.

I am not including my marriage certificate - is that okay or do I need to include that?

Yes, they are aware and many have had success doing the same thing.
