Police Registration in London

Hi all, I am in a bit of trouble here as I am a Tier 2 visa holder. Last year I changed my employer and got a new BRP, but I forgot to register with police. Recently I changed my employer again and when I go through my documents I found I need to update my registration certificate with the police. Now, since I live in London I need to update it with the OVRO office near London Bridge, but the problem is that the office is over-subscribed and I am handed a slip to tell me to come back on 19th of November. However, I feel that my new employer may not want to wait until then. I am just wondering if there is anything I can do to speed up this process? Is there anything I can do to get my police registration certificate updated sooner?
