Congratulations!
Can you share some details about your application like:
When did you apply?
When did you arrive in Ireland?
Did you meet all of their criteria?
Thanks in advance
Hi, I applied on the 26th october, I came to ireland in 2009 july and I guess I met the criteria. I graduated with my Hons degree in 2016 and I always worked throughout the years I was in ireland

When did you apply??
Hi, applied on the 26 october 2018 and was asked for missing p60 on the 14th January and I sent it same day
So it took them another 4 months to finally give you positive ( congratulations for that) response? Well I heard if you submit requested documents then within 4 days you get response?

Hi Everyone,
I have got a letter on last Friday where it mentions that u have been granted permission under the special student scheme, all other outstanding requests for permission are considered finalised and closed. That's the only letter what i have got from the department. Immigration officer is not accepting this letter for extending my visa.
I have not received any other letter except that letter.
Can anyone help me?
What should i do now?
If anyone in the same situation so pls let me know.
Thanks

Hi what does the immigration officer say? What is the reason for refusal of extension? Sometimes it takes a week or 2 to receive the same copy of the letter of yours in the Immigration. Where r u based? Have u granted for stamp 4s under the special student scheme or any other stamp? I know one person who initially granted for stamp 1 and then he was granted for stamp 4s. Let us know in details plz.

You need to give more info about your immigration status for expirienced people to reply. Also contact a solicitor for professional advice.

Immigration officer said that produce two pages of letter where it mention any stamp like 4s and other information. She said this letter is only for your record what i have got from the department. I have stamp 2 for 18 months. Now i have been granted permission for Special student scheme. So how do i get that letter what immigration officer needed? Should i wait for that letter?

Hi do u know someone who also granted for the stamp 4s special scheme for the students if so you can match the letters to see if there is any difference between the letters. If there is any difference u should write a letter to the INIS residence division unit 1 or u should contact with the solicitor for legal advice.
Thx

Special student scheme permission letters clearly mentioned stamp 4s and time (2 years) and other conditions .

Hi today one of my friend received a letter like u have received along with stamp 4s special scheme letter. He received that letter because he applied for permission to remain before the scheme was open to apply.
Did u apply for anything before the scheme was open to apply? If u do I think u r missing the stamp 4s letter here and I think u will receive it shortly. That's why they said you have been granted for the special scheme and all other applications is finalised and closed.
Hope that's help you

Does anybody know any other reason of refusal of students special scheme apart from changing status eg; changing from stamp 2 to EUFAM, stamp 1, or any other stamp?
If u know plz share with us TIA.

I think thats the only reason they would refuse. Did you apply. I know so many people who didnt even finish college and they got their 4s. As long as you have been paying taxes and residing in ireland.

4 yr undergraduate and then a 4.5-5 year postgraduate degree afterwards will keep you here as a student for up to 9 years.
