You guys should ask your local TD to put parliamentary question to Minister about the number of applications completed. At least it will give you an idea of where you are.

Got my letter in registered post this morning with positive response.
But I have to wait for the Same letter to arrive at my local immigration office so I cant extend the visa.

Visit your local immigration office and asked them to call the department to verify the status of my application since it's been completed already , that worked for me. Got my letter in one week.

Just wondering, they say they are dealing applications in chronological order. But I have a friend who arrived in the state in March 2009 but one of the lucky guys above got his decision and he arrived in Ireland in October 2009.

Chronological order is just a heavy word to keep mouths shut otherwise it mean nothing to them.
I arrived 2008 applied 3rd week of october 2018 and get stuck in CHORONOLOGICAL ORDER and lucky friends arrived and applied later then most of us but didnt get into this heavy word.
But hopefully soon ll see some good news.

Look if your application is complete and you're not getting your letter you should be persistent. If your local immigration office doesn't reply to you, visit the Dublin office and if that doesn't work write a complaint.

The department already made a decision in your case so there isn't much to risk anyway. Just be polite.

Lady from my local immigration office got back to me today with the answer that your application is still in process, once done you will get your letter that's it nothing much. She siad that the only thing she can do for me at this stage. Where we can complain? Just in case

We are in the same boat Iffi7,applied 11 November,arrived JULY 2010..No change in online portable..not to even ask for more documentation sometimes I wonder if mine is working okay
Keep the faith we will be there soon.

Same situation here: Arrived March 2010, last Stamp 2 expired Dec 2015, and applied 24th Oct 2018. Still staring at the "Submitted Forms (1)" and "Completed (0)" for months. Thanks to all who posted their results.

Hi guys one of my friend told me that she heard that by the 1st of oct everybody should get an anwer also that when we all apply all the docs have been reviewed and if there was any refusal they would have contact the person within 2 weeks of the application was made dunno now if its confirmed or not but i just hope we all get sorted by then

Too lazy ..... average 6 cases a day with this speed they can only finish all cases in march/april next year.

Somebody told me that if its refused you have 20 days for review/appeal.
