Need Urgent help

I need urgent advice. I came over here on family permit as an extended family member through my father in law and at that time my wife was holding RC. Now she got PR and pregnant with our first baby. I applied for residence card which was refused. My solicitor suggested me to go for reconsideration instead of reapplying. So he sent request for reconsideration . After waiting for about 3 months my reconsideration has been rejected.
Please advice me on this situation what should I do? Am I over stayer now? Can I reapply through my father in law or my wife while staying in UK? Or I have to leave the country? What is my status now?

What were the reasons for refusal, and when does your FP expire? And what is your solicitor advising?
