My ILR application

Post by waelayoub » Mon Nov 05, 2018 5:53 pm

Dear All,

Finally, I managed to book an appointment for ILR on 23rd of November in Croydon. Would really appreciate if I can have your opinion and thoughts on my application and the supporting documents I will provide.

Status: Tier 2 General granted on 18/12/2013.
First Entry: 12/01/2014
Extended my visa: 31/12/2016
Current Visa expiry Date: 01/01/2020
Any visa Rejection: my tier 2 application was rejected when I applied in November 2013 as I made my application in the UK while I was on a business visitor visa.

Supporting Documents:
1- Old and New Passports
2- Bank Statements for the last 3 months (I have another bank account; do I need to provide statements for that
too?)
3- Payslips for the last 3 months
4- Passport photos x2
5- Police Registration Certificate (My current address is not updated as I have been seconded to London on
22/10/2018 to work out of client office and the OVRO gave me an appointment on 16/01/2019).
6- Life in the UK test
7- Expired English Test Certificate (IELTS) which was accepted in my first tier 2 application
8- Refusal Letter for my first Tier 2 application.
9- BRP
10- My ex-employer went into administration and I was transferred under TUPE to my current employer who took
over. I have letter for that
11- Supporting letters from my employer:
I letter for my current salary, working hours, SOC and needed for foreseeable future. Note that I got promoted in
October and had a big salary rise which now over the threshold, also my job is still shown in the shortage
occupation list – HOPE THIS DOESN’T AFFECT MY APPLICATION
Ii Letter for Business and personal absences
III Promotion Letter
IV Secondment Letter
V Updated Employment Contract

Because of secondment to London, my Employer provided me Living Allowance, could you please advise me if I need to put Basic Salary only or Basic+Allowance in the Salary section in my application?
Can I change anything in my application after I booked and paid?

Your advice and help is really appreciated.

Thanks All

Hi

Wish you the best for your application.

Have some questions:

Have you filled in online application and you took appointment at Croydon center as part of online application?

What is 'date of application' does the application show? Will the date of appointment be considered as application date - which I believe - you have kept under 28 days from first visa stamping date and not from 'first entry' in UK? Is this confirmed that we can consider visa stamping date for qualifying period?

Further, when you were filling English language requirement section, what did say for degree taught in English? Didn't you submit your degree certificate at the time of first visa stamp?

Thanks
R

Thanks Rahuld.

Once you complete your application online, you will be given 2 options to book your appointment; new service and existing service.

The date of application is the date of my appointment which is within the 28 days before the issue date of entry clearance.

For English language requirements, i put No against degree taught in english and yes against English test certificate.

Please all your advice is important to me and is really appreciated.

Hi, when you complete online form, before you are given the choice between existing and new service, have you had actually to click submit the application form?

I am in similar timeline as yours but we have booked holidays for Christmas abroad so very reluctant to make it now. I am afraid if I click submit and there is no available date for premium service then we can't go on holiday.
