Has an application ever been forgetton?

Post by UKTier2June2018 » Tue Nov 06, 2018 4:38 pm

I have been waiting for 11 working days for my priority visa application which in theory should only take 5 days. I have also heard nothing at all from UKVI/Home Office. Upon ringing UKVI a couple of times, they could not tell me what is causing the delay either. I understand from reading other posts normally the applicant would receive an email notifying application not being straightforward and please expect some delays. However, in my case, I have not been getting any communications. I am wondering whether my application is lost/forgotten by the system and I might never get an answer. Has such a significant delay ever happened to anyone else without any information?

I've been waiting nearly 20 weeks to switch from tier 4 to tier 2. No information given and no one is answering me or my employer (sending constant letters, emails, phone calls...)

Very frustrating!!!

Sometimes people paid for priority but didn't get priority service. It worth calling home office to check on the progress.
