Is this a new trend that if your UK Visa application refused they send refusal email before collecting passport?

When my brother got his refusal in July, he got the refusal email with an attached letter before collecting the passport. So i guess yes. He applied from Pakistan.

My timeline
30th October application submitted
10 th November issued email
Now waiting for passport collection

But problem is only I received the issued email and I am not the main applicant. We are four and only I received it. I didn’t understand why. Any one who experienced the same?

what does this mean?

I have received the ‘concluded’ message for the visit application for my mother in law.

We expect to find out later and I will update in due course then.

i applied visit visa in Nigeria on 15th July and received "Concluded" email on 29th July 2019.
after that there is no update on TLS website, they are still saying your application is still with UKVI.

any advise on this matter would be appreciate. i am bit nervous because of this "concluded" trend.

Please i received three emails, one from UK Visa immigration saying it has been concluded and shortly dispatched, then after four days i received two mails from TLS contact about being assessed with my ref number and after a minute i received again that it is ready for collection.I mean same 2 mails like yours from TLS contact What do you think?

We applied for my mother and father in law for visit visa.

Now i have read on here concluded emails mean rejection bit still holding to hope. I received the following email on 16 07 2019 around 9.30am

My question is has anyone got emails like this all on same day and 3 emails like me or just 2 emails.

Could be an issued visa maybe??? We will know for sure tomorrow but was wandering if anyone else is like my case.

I have great news everyone and maybe started a new trend for people who visa application goes through TLScontact.

My in laws just picked up their passports and both being issued 6 month visa.

Thank god, i think the give away is if you get maybe 3 emails the second email about passport with immigration i think that means you got the visa but either way i thought i would share since a few people here got same email as me so in my case concluded meant issued.

Hello..can you please explain how did u apply or appeal for pap as i want to do this for my sister and her children whose visas got refused..they have enough funds and savings..i called my mother here many times she gets her visa easily she has 2 years visa but they are not giving my sister and her children visa..we were really excited as she was coming here for the first time with her children...can you explain how to appeal or pap..thanks

I think you have to do it within 3 months of your refusal letter. I might be wrong but i think i have seen 3 months somewhere.

Like i said, i did it all by myself. I read what other people have done in this forum.

Key thing is to satisfy yourself first. Do you really think the application will be successful?
It might be worth sharing the reason for rejection in here or with one of your friends or someone independent.

My brother had shown everything to counter the common rejections i have heard from people on this forum and my social circle. So our rejection was a surprise.

In simple terms, if you didn't show enough evidence, then your rejection was valid.

The problem with ours was - they questioned the evidence we provided and we got back to them saying they were completely wrong and did not read or understand the documents we had provided and came to an irrational decision. I am an auditor by profession and i knew that UKVI had messed it up.

As said earlier in the forum, putting in an emotional PAP will not get you anywhere. You have to have a strong case and be able to defend that yourself.

If you see the PAP template, you will get the idea what are the things you should be thinking, etc.

Sorry dear, I am not too sure but I read through online sources which say "A judicial review application must be lodged within 3 months of the refusal decision".

Hi applied for general visitor.
There is no right of appeal for Visitor visa. But you can take them for a judicial review.
PAP is part of that process. So answering your question - YES.

I just received my passport by courier and my visa is approved. Kind of nerve racking when I didn’t receive any decision email from UKVI but my passport has arrived at destination country. This is my approval after 3 refusals.
