Hi,

Please help me on following query:

I submitted the application on 29-June-2020 in Dubai.

Received a message on 1-Jul-2020 from VFS that my application has been forwarded to UK Visa and Immigration.

On 6-Jul-2020, my company's HR manager received an email for the verification of my salary certificate that I submitted

She replied to the embassy on 11-Jul-2020.

On 19-Jul-2020 i received following email:

Dear Customer,

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE. THIS MAILBOX IS NOT MONITORED.

Your UK visa application is currently under consideration at the British Embassy Abu Dhabi.

Unfortunately the processing of your application has not been straightforward. This means that we will be unable to make a decision within our published customer service standards.

We will notify you when your application has been concluded, and you will be contacted by the Visa Application Centre when your documents are ready for collection. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre before they have contacted you.

Please avoid making travel arrangements until you have collected your passport.

We would be grateful if you could keep your correspondence to a minimum during the consideration process. If however you need to contact us or would like to track the progress of your application, you can do so via our International Enquiry Service at www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-uk.

What does "not straight forward" means? I received this email exactly on 15th day of my application which is their normal processing time.

Have you heard back on this? I submitted PAP for my parents and got the initial reconsideration email, asking for four months. They have now sent another email giving us three options (1, to withdraw PAP, 2, no change in circumstances but submit fresh documents - not sure how this works, and 3, re-submit documents with change in circumstances). Really confused on how to proceed (and what level of new documents to be provided).

I got this reply from PAP department:

"Response to the proposed claim

I acknowledge that the ECO in their decision dated 10 March 2020 has made errors when
assessing Ms - - - application with regard to her immigration history. It is the case
that her application for further leave to remain in the UK was submitted in time and she
remained in the UK lawfully up to the point that her decision was served in October - - -.

I do not accept however that the ECO has incorrectly discharged their duty under Section
55 towards Ms - - - I am satisfied that once the ECO had determined that Ms---
had not met the requirements of the Immigration Rules they were correct to refuse Ms
---’s application for a visitor visa.

Having considered the details of your clients’ applications and your letter before claim I
am satisfied that the decision to refuse your clients a visitor visa should be set aside and
their applications reconsidered. UKVI will be in touch shortly to advise your clients of next
steps"

When did u receive ur initial response? and when did u get 2nd email? What was the reason(s) of ur refusal if it was financial reason(s) then u should submit latest bank statement and u should explain them in detail that y do u think that u or ur parents support themselves without recourse to public funds and they ll leave the UK on time.

Hi,

I just came in here to clarify that the word “concluded” doesn’t mean is a rejection. It can mean a decision made.

I have applied for my mothers visiting visa to come stay with us during Christmas ( and also I am 9 months pregnant)

I have applied on Priority - on Dec 1st
Received concluded email - on Dec 4th
Received Refusal email - on Dec 5th
The reasons given by the officer, were like as if he was drunk and he then took a decision,basically none of them made sense.
We tried to escalate the case, but we were asked to wait more than 20 days. I got fed up.

So we applied for Priorty service visa again on Dec 15th
Received Concluded Email - Dec 17th
Received Document collection email - Dec 18th
My mom went and collected the passport - Dec 18th
Their was no refusal letter sent via email or along with the passport.
My mom looked at all the pages in the passport and finally found a surprise visa on the end of the passport , which is valid for 6 Months.

Luckily by gods grace, I got admitted in the hospital got delivery, and my doctor said baby should be out today or tomorrow. So god knows his perfect timing.

Therefore again ... Concluded email is not equal to rejection

I tried checking with them multiple times but they just provide generic answer that they will contact as soon as they receive passport. What to do?
