Don't worry about cancelling his leave. If they decide to get married, then the registrar is duty bound to refer the matter to the Home Office.

If they do not get married, then there is no need to do anything at the moment.

No need to burn bridges with him.

Have you met with the girl's parents?

I hope your wife will make a complete recovery.
Many thanks for your reply,
From the second link you provided:

"The registrar will tell you if this applies to you and your proposed marriage or civil partnership will be referred to the Home Office. The Home Office may investigate to make sure your marriage or civil partnership is genuine.

You may be interviewed by the Home Office or asked for more information as part of the investigation. You must comply with the investigation or you will not be allowed to get married or form a civil partnership."

If the HO meet them, there are no ways to persuade HO that he will stay in the UK legally, they will know that he will be out of my visa, and he will not have any permission to stay, I hope the HO refuse that marriage because of no good future.
Do you think so? Do the HO have the power to do that?

Dear Gurus,
I agreed my son's marriage in a condition that he spends money from his own, so I got a job for him in our home country, full-time job, he will work with my friend (I agreed with my friend about my plan), after three months can I curtail his leave as T1E dependant, I have evidences such as employment contract and payslips, and my son will be in our home country.
Please advise
Thanks
