Hello Everyone,

I applied for my wife PBS Dependent Visa and attended appointment for Biometric on 22nd December 2018. A so called service expected to receive the decision within 10 days.

Contacted UKVI 2 days back and received a reply today as below;

"Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.
Our records show your application has not yet been completed.
We are unable to advise when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once made.
We are sorry we cannot be of further assistance at this time.
"

So my queries are as below;
.1. What does this "Our records show your application has not yet been completed." means
As I have already completed the online application paid all my fees and NHS fees and attended the appointment for Biometric. ?

I asked this question specifically because the lady who sent out this generic email made a mistake of leaving her contact details. She said the "decision process" is not complete, meaning that the caseworker probably has not started your case yet, but no one really knows!

.2. So is this a Generic Email and what should I do next ?
It is most probably a generic email. You have to file an official complaint

.3. Has anyone on this forum received such email and how did they proceed further ?
received it so many times..

Please help me on this.

Many Thanks.

Hi cja_1234,

Thanks for your reply.

Could you please share your experience with the email you received saying "Our records show your application has not yet been completed."

This would be really helpful for anyone on this forum who get this kind of email.

So what did you do after that and how long it took to get your approval letter and BRP after this emai you received saying "Our records show your application has not yet been completed." ?

And also what I should be doing now. Please guide me?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hello everyone.

I live in London and my lawyer is saying that super priority is only available via the premium centre on Mark Lane.

However, I see that some of you have had super priority decisions after submitting your biometrics in Croydon.

I don't know what the options are because the application hasn't been submitted yet. Can someone please clarify for me?

If I can avoid Mark Lane that would be preferable, to save myself £200.

thank you all in advance!

This is my first post in this group.

Thank you to all.

I have received my ILR (LR) decision today.

Application Submitted 7th January, Biometrics done on 16th January 10:00 AM, Decision received via email 11:00 AM. I believe service done in 24 hours.

My Journey might give some hope for those who are waiting or about to attend the Super Priority Soon

Thank you all again
Hey Raghu,

Hi Guys

Is anyone in the situation where a person gets the refund first without getting decision email or any letter OR BRP. I am not sure if the decision on my application has already been made but I have received full refund of £610 in my account today. I am not sure what is going on. Please let me know if anyone has an idea about it.

Hi RY83, one of my friends who received her BRP yesterday (not on this forum but on SET (O) route) got a refund three days ago before her BRP arrived. She had not communication from UKVI or HO. She told me this morning an email came through this very morning with her approval. Im guessing this is not strange.

Its probably this review which has triggered the sudden refund process.

Hi Link,

Congratulations are in order

I did check with DX and have been checking since last 8 working days and nothing. They keep on repeating that it is Home Office issue, they have not issued it yet, check with them. Checking with Home Office is difficult as they don't reply quickly enough or no reply at all, call the number and the agent is rude

So I'm now at wits end and don't know what more to do

Update from us: we have had to repeat visits to the Sopra Steria centre. Applied on 27th December 2018, notified on Tuesday that biometrics were missing. Returned ad-hoc on Wednesday to repeat biometrics.

Notified today that passport scans now missing, so once again will need to return to scan. I suppose any progress is good progress here...

However, has anyone had an experience like this?! Reading the thread I've not seen anything but incase someone is lurking then I'd very like to hear about your experience and how we can possibility minimise the number of trips made and get the visa processed ASAP! All advice welcome.
I got an email today to say my passport scans are missing and to book another appointment but I called Sopra Steria and they said it was all uploaded. I also watched the woman scan it all so very confused. Did you end up going back a 3rd time? And how did you book the second appointment? Do you know if you still get Super Priority Service or do we lose it because of their mistake?
Yes, had to go back a 3rd time. The Home Office continually insisted the scans were missing. After they escalated to their IT team, the issue was resolved and the Home Office were able to see the scans.

Today we got the email we've been waiting for: visa is approved and we now we need to wait for the BRP. What a relief. Super Priority was still active for sure - it was in the approval email ("thanks for using super priority").

The 1st revisit appointment was arranged by calling the 0330 number in the email appointment (don't have it to hand but has been mentioned on this thread several times I think). The 2nd and 3rd were via email as by that point, the manager offered their email address in case of further issues. It probably doesn't matter if you don't have a contact, you can probably turn up and explain the situation and they will fit you in either way given it's 100% their mistake.

We will be applying for a refund for both the Sopra Steria fee and the super priority fee but I'm doubtful either will be successful. Ultimately: Sopra Steria is not a timed service, I don't think they guarantee one-visit-or-your-money-back if that makes sense. The Home Office give a 24 hour service after they receive a complete application so I don't think the clock really starts until Sopra Steria get their act together so probably can't get that either. No harm in trying, but not going to hold my breath.

Best of luck!
Would you be able to share Sopra Steria e-mail address? I also need to reach out to them. Thank you
The one I have is the personal email address of the manager which I can't share here but wouldn't help you anyway as it's not a general one for all enquiries.

Thank you for the reply, I've replied back to the approval email I received, though it did not have case worker name in it. Now waiting for a reply
Did your approval email come from a generic home office email address? I can find my caseworker name on my approval letter as well, so maybe you can read the letter again and try to find the name? Then usually the email address is FIRSTNAME.SURNAME@homeoffice.gov.uk
Hi, it was from generic email address and same on the approval letter. No case worker name so have replied back to the email address the approvel email came from
Hi Mumbai2003,

I was wondering if you have received your BRP as I'm in a similar position. I received my ILR approval on 3rd January 2019 using the UKVCAS super priority service (Mark Lane - London) and even though decision was made within 24 hours, the BRP has yet to arrive! I've tried contacting them through various avenues (direct email, call, reporting the issue on the website given etc..) and they keep telling me there's a technical issue with the production of BRPs and will give me an update when the issue has been resolved, but can't tell me when!! I'm seeing posts of people receiving BRPs just a few days after the approval email/letter so I was wondering if it's a location specific issue.

Also apologies if this is not the right place to post this question as it's not really related to the UKVCAS priority service.
Hi Rofriend,

Just a thought after posting few replies on this forum and going though the posts from Link, have you tried calling DX up and see whether they have got it or not

Worth a shot, you can call them up from 08:00 tomorrow or if within London then head down to their depot with ID proof as why butI get a feeling in my case they may well have it or misplaced it

Hello Everyone
I got my £610 refunded today 😊

The BRP is on its way. Just checked the tracker.

For those who are waiting!!!! How can i say that how i truly understand the pain and misery you’re going through right now!! It’s bad and it’s excruciating 😖 but i’m sure there’s an end to this!!
I give all the credit in my case to my MP. She did it for me. No questions about that.

So if you haven’t done so then get your local mp involved now and then wait. Because mine was sorted in 20 WORKING days from the day my mp contacted them initially so you have to have patience for that. But trust me they do take MPs seriously.

I wish you all nothing but the very best!!!!

Hi,
There is no such thing as you must go to premium center to give your bio-metrics. You can go to any center in England as far as you can book an appointment. I applied through super priority service ( got my BRP in 3 days) & I booked my appointment at Croydon center because I didn't want to pay additional fees just to submit my bio metrics in London. My appointment was at 12:00 but they took me 11:30 because I went there early.
hope this helps..

Can someone remind me of what super priority deadlines are? 24 hours, correct?

I went to Reading UKVAS on 12 January for a 10 am appointment, and estimating 24 hours, I should have had an email by Monday 10 am. However, let's say that Saturday is a non working day for the Home Office, then by 10 am on Tuesday. UKVAS/HO missed this deadline, but by the end of the Tuesday I did get an email with a decision (no BRP yet in the mail as of today). While I know everyone else is facing MUCH worse, I wonder if I should press for some funds refunded given they didn't meet their own deadlines. Any thoughts?

Hi to all,

So not to bring the thread down, but my ILR was refused this morning, I haven't read the last 30 odd pages but it seems everybody else has received theirs.

Brief relapse: Application Set M on the 5 years after being partner of a EEA National (whom during that period I married and reside in London)

They refused my application because I applied on the 11th of November, rather then before the 25th of October. Some may remember that there was no appointment up and down the whole kingdom for 45 days, and I tried every day to apply. Because that classes me as an overstayer in the UK's eyes I am to be deported in 7 days. Which will be interesting as I live with my Wife (Polish who is now a british citizen) in central London, run a Consultency, have two cats and a large liability to Banks and HMRC>

This escalated quickly.

Next steps:

Create a new complaint, appealing that their absolutely hopeless system was the cause of the delay in application, and they should have record of this.
Reapply via the EEA PR route.
Find a way to talk to some department saying that I am preparing my appeal which requires me to leave the UK
Take advice from anybody here.
Prepare Plan B: Sell everything and get His majesty to send me back to some antipodean country.

This went from doing the absolute right thing (tier 2 2011-2014, and then EEA October 2013 to October 2018) to waking up to a screaming wife saying you have to leave the UK in 7 days

This sounds very scary!

But I think you should have 28 days *after* your current visa expires to make a new application.

Anyway, this is ridiculous. Against basic human right.

In regards to the 28 day window, that was changed a few years back to 14 days and at the discretion of the Caseworker. I will fall just outside of those 14 days.

Plan B currently in progress is applying within the UK to the appeals board, stating all of the above, But I am not sure whether to do the EEA PR now and send my passport away, whilst they can deport me at any time, as the letter they sent was OVER a month late.

This is a complete mess, I have lodged formal complaints in email and via 2241 several times and all that time they already had made a decision on the 16th of December. If I was a sham marriage or coming through this process in more complex way I can understand the cynicism but this is just not reasonable in any way.
