now that everyone started to worry about their visa the ho r giving people qucik decisions so they don't get blamed . our ones r stuck since nearly a month submitted on the 7th and no answer apart from the error email which was that it will take up to 6 months that email was incorrect.
this is so stressful and unfair to me and those that actually r waiting for months and no answer regardless of paying 3k and above .
anyone else received that error emil or not
I got thist email too after I submitted my application.
I'm applying SET O, Tier2 -> ILR, Super Prioty, submitted online 27 Nov, received an email saying it would take up to 6 month bla bla bla, went to the biometric appointment 5 Dec, heard nothing after that, escaleted twice now. Today I received another email saying it's still under consideration and it would take up tp 6 month??? I dont know if they really mean it or it just a generic email that they send out to everybody, so I call UKVI again wanted to verify if this is an error, and the women who answered was really rude and ask me to call back on 2nd Jan, and just cut me off!!

I strongly recommend that you complain officially about this - naming the individual if you can (I did that). There is simply no excuse for rude behaviour.
Besides, it is ridiculous to have to wait several days for an update about a process that should have taken less than 24 hours itself!

Super Priority, Appointment on the 4th Dec
Tier 2 —> Tier 2 (change of employer)
Nothing heard yet (not even generic emails)
Last escalation was 18th Dec
Called today and was told to wait until 2nd Jan
ohhh I can understand they r closing this system on the 2nd so idk if they gonna start working on the delay applications after they close the super priority service or what I'm not sure

Hi All, merry Christmas. Great to see some applications are getting the results immediately. I haven't heard back from them since couple of escalations. Even our local MP contacted them last week but was told they do extra checks so it can take some time. I haven't heard the decision since my application date of 6th December. It's really frustrating as had a trip to USA planned during Christmas..
hey have u heard anything from them

UKVI replied to my email clarifying they want to process all applications soonest and if decision is pending due to not of customer fault then super priority service fee will be refunded. Anybody got similar response for the delay? This helps to know at least £600 fee can be refundable.

The user who posted this is posting nonsense. There has been no announcement that the service is closing. Likely the user is confusing the Premium Service Centre service closing.

Thank you! I’ve been extremely anxious the last few days! I really want to apply and get a decision ASAP. I have nothing to be scared of except decision delays. Anyway thanks for your reassurance!

I didn't explained it in my covering letter. I just mentioned the date I came to the uk and the date my visa expires. Whether you explain it or not your case worker will work it out.
Hi Thara123 please do let us know when your visa has come through in the mail. Many thanks
5days after the biometric appointment. Confirmation letter received next day after the email
Is that 5 working or calendar days?
5 working days.

1. Many of the mods you have quoted above are no longer active on the forum.
2. Most of us mods do NOT have experience of the new system, having finished our immigration journey a long time ago.
3. We are not HO employees so cannot tell you how long it will take.
4. Based on your previous posts, link below, your case is not as straightforward as it seems.

Thanks

Hi Folks
Have attended priority biometrics appointment on 22Dec (Sat @ 9am) for Set O settlement application in Manchester by paying £3018,50. Home office website says decision will be given with 24 working hours- it's been 2 working hours in my case (full day 24Dec & 27Dec) but no news? Called up 0300 123 2241 & they say applicant has to wait for a home office revert & they cannot give a time frame..
What's your experience? Mine is a pretty straight forward case & shouldn't be any issues.Normally how much time does home office take for decision on priority applications? Is there a way we can call up and ask them why it's taking long or just an agonizing wait!
Kindly guide.
Thanks

Best of luck Mizer and keep us posted. When is your appointment?
Thank you,my wife will reach her qualification period at the end of January but we will submit on the begining of February.
do you have used one document for two requirement for example your jointly council tax letter has been used for proof of cohabitation (among the 12 correspondance letters) and also for the one they ask about council tax?
I am thinking may be I can use my tennancy agreement for proof of accomondation and also for correspendace letter(proof of cohabitation)!
Basically use the same document on different category (proof of resident and financial)
What do you reckon?

you should have seen me for sure as I came at 8:15 am Walt for my 9:30 appointment. What time was your appointment. I was seen by the lady by around 11:30am. Finally I did speak to the manager of that centre ( blue Jean and pink jumper with specs) and filled a feedback form as well.
Did you receive any email yesterday from them then saying application is under consideration and will take 6 months!?!
Please keep updating here too
Thanks
