Tier 2 Dependent / PBS Dependent Health Surcharge

Hello,

Extension of my PBS dependent ends in Sep 2019, however, I am not eligible to apply for ILR for another 6 months as i was travelling at the beginning of my initial visa. I am going to apply for extension visa PBS dependent for the second time.
My question is healthcare surcharge. When i first applied, my partner was in Tier 2 intra company, now he has British Citizenship. In the IHS form, i choose Tier 2 intra company for the "visa route" section, then the form asks for "work end date". There is no work end date now, as my partner already got citizenship, and there is no end to it. If i enter his passport expirydate, which is 2025, then surcharge calculates as GBP 2600.
What should i write to the date, 3 years? (as normally extensions are 3 years as far as i know, this is going to be my second extension)
If i choose 1 year from now, can i get only 1 year visa?

There is NO absence limit for PBS Dependent visas issued BEFORE 11th January 2018.

ILR clock starts from initial visa ISSUE date and not the date of entry to the UK.
