Applying For BC

Post by zahidsip » Wed Jul 29, 2020 8:33 pm

Hi Team of Experts

Once again I need advise of experts. I got ILR after entrepreneur visa. It will be one year in September this year for ILR. I got few questions please advice me
Can i apply for BC 28 days before one year complete ?

I had overspending awareness course in December last year, do i need to mention it?

Which form i need to fill for naturalisation?

My wife will complete her 5 years next year. She is currently on dependent visa of my entrepreneur visa (now i have ILR) . Hopefully i will get my British passport by then. Does she need to wait one year after ILR to apply BC?

Your advise is always helpful. Thanks to all members in advance.

No. There is no early 28 days concession for citizenship. You must have held ilr for the full 12 months.

There is only one form. It is form AN, online.

No, not if you are British at that time AND she meets the 3 year residence requirement to apply as the spouse of a British citizen.
