Dependant application for a child born outside UK

Post by Nazka » Tue Sep 15, 2020 6:51 am

Hi all,

Desperately need a help since two wrong application were submitted and two refund request made :(

Background: I have a spouse visa in my letter from HO it says you have permission to be in the UK know as a leave to enter. I was pregnant at that time. The spouse visa obtained on March 2020 but due to the lockdown I was unable to travel to the UK.
My husband has ILR
Our child was born outside of the UK.
Now we are trying to find out the correct application for a dependant child.
Initially I filled this application: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... 1600148711
Child born outside of the UK-Apply separate- Appnedix FM-child FM.

Then I was advised that the name of the application shall be “dependant of a settled person” which is here: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... ype/funnel

Could you please advise which form I need to fill in in my situation?

Thanks !!!

This one, Appendix FM, the same visa as you have. The child will follow the same visa route as you because your partner is not British. You were advised of this already earlier this year that the child will follow the same visa path as you.

This is NOT relevant to your child.
