Indian citizen married to British National per Partner Visa; seeking next steps

Am an Indian citizen visiting the UK to marry a British national per UK partner visa valid till May 2021.
Then I return to India and would need to re-issue my passport for a name change to reflect married last name.

Ques 1 - Would Indian Passport office take Marriage Certificate from the UK as valid proof
Ques 2 - Which visa type should I be looking at to return as spouse of British citizen - links to the same would be appreciated

Are you getting married on a fiance visa (which you can then convert into a normal spousal visa without leaving the UK) or a marriage visitor visa (which does require you to leave the UK)?

If the former, you don't need to leave the UK to apply for a spousal visa.

Can you not get your Indian passport reissued/updated by the relevant Indian High Commission/Consulate General within the UK?

Does your British spouse meet the Minimum Income Requirement of £18,600 p.a.? Do you meet the English language test requirement? If yes to both, then FLR(M).
