NAME DIFFERS ON NEW PASSPORT TO ILR - WAITING ON BPR

Hello.

I changed my name back a few years to my maiden name.
My ILR is in one of these old and expired passports under my old name.
I haven recently applied for BPR and am still waiting on their decision, it has been several weeks.

The issue is I need to travel in under 2 months and my main concern is that the BPR will not arrive in time but also the chance I may not be let back in to the UK as my current passports name does not match my visa (the ILR) that is in the expired passport.

Can someone please shed some light on the situation re entry back into the UK under these circumstances and if there is anything I can do going forward?

Your concerns are unfounded. You are allowed to use either your married name or maiden name without any issues
