Skilled worker visa extension and dependant visa.

Hi!

I've hold a skilled worker visa for almost 2 years.
I plan to register marriage in my country in December, then my wife can apply as my dependant.
(She is holding temporary visa now and it will soon expire)

My little concern is the remaining dates of my skilled worker visa. It will expire in May 2024.
If she applies in Dec, she would probably get it in Feb 2024 (or March 2024 at worst).
Which is very close to the end of my visa. Is it suggested to extend my visa first?

That would be the sensible thing.

When does her current visa expire? She will obviously have to leave the UK before it expires if she doesn't switch visa category.

Hi her visa will expire in Feb 2024. 3 months earlier than mine.
