Tier 1 dependent checklist required - pls help

Post by sureshep » Tue Dec 23, 2008 6:34 am

Good Day and Best wishes !!!

I have applied for Tier 1 visa from India and I got stamped recently.
Now I am planning to process visa application for my dependent. I am getting married sometime in Feb 2009 and after that planning to apply for dependent visa from India itselfs.

Can anybody pls send me the checklist required for dependent visa, would be greatfully appreciated if anyone can send across.

Pls provide comments on the below query :
1. Is it mandatory that.....only after marriage I need to apply for dependent visa ?
2. Moreover, will I need maintain the funds in my bank account for dependent or her self account ?

Appreciate all your time and valuable inputs. Looking forward to your earliest responses.

Suresh

Only with marriage certificate (in India) your partner will be related to you. So , i think it is mandatory to apply for spouse after marriage(in india)
Moreover, will I need maintain the funds in my bank account for dependent or her self account ?
You can show ur own account for your wife with a letter of authorisation from you.

I hope these answers r useful. Even i am planning to apply for my wife. do u hv answers for my question in the post(http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=33605)
