Hi,

received following email my 5th month just started not even finish 6 months and received following email any one has any experience can share thoughts


We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6 month target.

We are sorry for the delay in dealing with this application which has been caused by an IT issue. We have reported the issue, will ensure it is resolved as soon as possible and will expedite completion of your application when it is resolved. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a specific time scale for completion at this time.

All I can say there have been a few reports recently about delays due to IT issues, for naturalisation as well as other applications. Looks like you have to wait beyond the 6 months target.

someone got same email and they reported work share not working, i check mine getting following message

seems IT issue, but really hope this will be won't take long. i will follow after 6 month ends

I received the same email today. I don't understand how an IT issue can happen to some applications only if not all ... I submitted my application 14 Dec 2022, and on the forum I saw applications submitted in Feb 2023 got approvals already, it's really frustrating ... Hopefully we don't need to enrol biometric again and it's just a small issue to be resolved soon.

check your work share code , if record appears..

let hope for best, i have seen two reported same IT issue and get approval email within 3 weeks.

I don't think I have a 'Share Code'. I enrolled my biometric at the UKVCAS Service Point, not via UKVCAS IDV app. Or am I missing something here?
