Assign new CoS certification

Post by Ronaldo898 » Fri Apr 26, 2024 10:28 am

Dear, I need some advice on what to do,
I have been working with a UK company since 2021 with a valid skilled worker visa that will expire in Aug 2026. A few months ago, the company not doing well and I decided to move to another firm which offered me to sponsor my visa.
  • Can the new company issue a new CoS for me without going back to the old company?
  • Do I need to apply for my family application also?
  • Does the old company know if a new CoS was assigned to me?
Thanks
Ronaldo

Thank you, for the prompt response. I will have a meeting later today with the old employer and will post here the output just in case this could be useful info for anyone.

The current/old employer has no involvement if you're changing jobs and employer.

There won't be any interaction between the old and new employer during the visa application process, there's no need for that.
