Hello,
I see many people asking this question; registering thier kids as British Citizens, MN1 etc.

I have two sons born outside UK to me and my British spouse.. The spouse was born in the UK. So, many years ago we lived in Dubai. At that time we went to UK embassy and got them UK pasports as Britsih Citizens. It was a passport applications only, not citisenships.

We have been renewing the passports accordingly ever since.

Do we need to apply for thier citizenship certifcate? Thier UK passports show Britsh Citizen.

No, they are British by descent as were born to a British citizen parent.
