Long Residence Concession application gone missing

Post by ilrapp100 » Wed Mar 18, 2009 11:30 am

I am at my wits end, have made an application for an ILR based on the Long Residence Concession it's coming up to over 2 years since the application, and I have heard nothing back.

I contacted the Home Office
to be told there have no record of my application, and I should send all the documents I have already sent to them again; inorder to find my application, which I have already done.

I am in a little bit of a panic, as I have been waiting anxiously over the last 2 years, in the event that they cannot find my application,
is there any other option other than to make a fresh application, and have the timeline start as of the time of this new application, or
is there some way, anyway possible; to chase them up into finding my original application, any particular number, person, department I should contact regarding this? All I have that my application was submitted is the special delivery number associated with the post.

All I have contacted so far have redirected me to the main office, who still haven't found my original application.

Did you keep proof of posting of your original application?
