French Schengen Visa for the spouse of EU national

Hello, Hello, Hello everyone!!!!!!!

I am a British Citizen, My wife is an Indian citizen, she is here with me in the UK on a spouse visa. We are planning to travel to France in the next couple of months for a quick break.
I am a little confused about the application form and documents I have to submit for her.

On the website for the French Consulate in London, it states all the documents one needs to submit for the application for a schengen visa as as a spouse of an EU citizen. On the aplication form, it states that there are some sections that do not have to be filled in by the spouse, they just ask for proof of relationship instead.
On the website, I saw the general section for a schengen visa (not the spouse section), and it asks about proof of spouses employment, travel insurance etc, but it did not state she needed all these in the relevant EU spouse section. Am I right in therefore assuming that I really DO NOT need these, and just sumit the info they ask for in the spouse visa section??
