ILR - 10yr resident application, am I missing anything

Post by dude12345 » Sat Oct 03, 2009 12:39 pm

Hi,

I have filled in the ILR for my 10yr resident, I was here on a 4yr degree then did a 3 yr phd and now working on a hsmp for 3 yrs.

The things I am confused about are:

1 - how to fill in the reason for absences, the discounting of days. Do I put in the date of departure and arrival? or will the immigration automatically count that?

this then also means the business meetings are not absences where I left and returned on the same day.

2 - Do I have to put in where I went? I can barely remember where I went to some places 10 years ago on holiday! I can fill in most but a few, I am not 100% sure. I only have entry stamps back into the UK for some of these trips.

3 - are there any other documents I should include?

- 6 months bank accounts and payslips
- letter from employer
- life in uk test
- photos and passports

Do I need to put in my degree certs as well?

4 - Do I have to incl. P45 documents from my previous employers? part time jobs when at Uni.

Is there anything else I need to do before sending it off? covering letter?

Thanks
