tier 1 dependent frm germany

hi,

i hav married last year in pak and my wife currently studying in Germany(on student visa) there. im on tier1 general visa from last 18th months. can she apply from germany for the dependent visa or shall she has to go back to her native country for applying. secondly the maintanace fee of 1600 pound is required for her i m already on tier one visa from last 18 months and living here in uk from last 5 years , shall i have to show further 800 pound for myself aswell..pls need help.

Yes, you have to show 800 + 533 GBP. Please see http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... policy.pdf page 8 of 18.

Well, as you can see from the guidance, you should provide 800 + 533 GBP. 533 GBP condition only applies if main applicant is in UK for last 12 months or more. It has no relation with dependent.

If she is a legal resident in Germany, she can apply there. It is absolutely fine.
