Earnings

Post by actuary » Tue Nov 10, 2009 10:17 am

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Do I need to show bonus in the company's reference letter? I am showing my post, since how long i have been there and my salary. Not sure, if bonus is to be shown.

Thanks

If BONUS is mentioned in ur payslip and if it is paid for/in the earnings period you are claiming then u can claim points for bonus..

Thanks for the info, yes it says that on my payslip so it possibly is a good idea to have that shown on the reference letter.

Also, my visa expires on 18th Jan 2010, can I apply by post 2 months prior to the expiry date? I have been told that the HO returns back applications if they have more than a month before expiry.

Thanks

Even though HO says you shd apply 28days before expiry of ur current visa.. there are lots of ppl (i think most of them or all) who applied before that..

Yes it is a good idea to apply 2-3months before so that in worst case scenario u have more time to reapply..
