HSMP to Tier1 - Bank Statements

Post by Line79 » Mon Nov 30, 2009 3:35 pm

Hi All,

I am about to apply HSMP to Tier1 extension within UK. I am concerned about the bank statements format.

I got statement for 12 months - Oct 08 to Sept 09, but all in plain A4 sheets with some pages with small fonts. This is from Barclays, I want to check with members if it is OK to send these as bank statements for earnings along with pay slips ? Do I need to get sign/stamp from branch on the statements ? I tried in one of branch, they refused as they don't have records beyond 3 months, also on telephone enquiry got similiar response.

For maintainance, I am sending original monthly statements (Aug 01 to Nov 12), I suppose that is fine. Please advice on above. I think this topic was discussed in the forum but I want to check if anyone had sent the statements as 'received from bank'. Apologies for asking again, as I am not sure on this.

Thanks.

If those are the original documents you received from Bank to your Home address by post and that is the normal way ur original documents look then u can go with it..

but if they are not ORIGINAL then u need to get them signed/stamped, incase they refuse to do so pls try to take a print of the HO Guidance saying statements need to signed/stamped.. and explain with patience..

Thanks for this. The 12 month statements are sent by bank on my request as I do not have all the original monthly statements for that period. After almost 15 days I received but all of them are plain A4 sheets and some with really small fonts, quite pathetic. I wish they rather charge extra and give in proper format.

I will try to get sign from branch again. Since these are some 16 odd pages, it may be difficult to get it stamped in all pages. Anybody sent similiar statments in application withouf endorsement ?

I will keep posted on this.
