When did they return your supporting documents that you sent with your passport appliaction? Thanks. M

I received them on same day I had the interview - 20th Aug afternoon which was a day after I received the appointment letter. My interview was in the morning and the documents arrived in the afternoon post.

One of the questions asked at the interview was if I have received the documents that were returned to me. And I answered "not yet". Hope it won't cause confusion.

It was standard post. No signature was required. As I did not pay the extra 3.00 pounds during check & send.

I only got one letter, i do not know it is ceremory letter or I have to wait, but I just called my local citizenship ceremory office, they aske me the HO reference number and Poll/Cover Note NO, they matched their record, and they just said I can go for the ceremory. Maybe you can try as well, not need to wait for the ceremory letter.

Hello my Dear brother glad to read your last post and know that you've received your passport interview letter, and sorry for my late response just been so busy didn't have the chance to log in, anyway i received a letter on saturday the 21st saying that they've received my application however the fees weren't correct maybe due to an out of date leaflet!! although i used the check and send service to avoid any error!!! so they said that there is £16 has to be paid or i am entitled to full refund as my application will be rejected!!!(i dont know who to blame here but it's not me surely) so i called the number provided in that letter luckily they were open that day (saturday) and made the required payment. so far that's it from my side now waiting for the interview letter.
you know mashaalah i have good luck dealing with the HO, after over 8 years battling i thought it was over, however even at the very last step i should be prepared for surprises!!!
anyway i am not in rush as i know sooner or later i'll get it.

I am so pleased that the children have their citizenship. we wait until june 2011 and the correspondence from the HO suggests that earned citizenship starts in july 2011 . i hope we dont get caught in the change.

There is no online system to check for Registeration/Naturalisation applications. But you can call them on + 44 151 672 5626.

the date was 19/08/2010 and received the 21/08/2010, they took only 2 days to generate a Reference Number, hope this may help

Also how did you contact HO. I mean what option did you choose to speak to someone. As the most obvious one goes to an automated message saying that says cant answer anything before 6 months have passed and terminates.

It was dropped through in a small white envelope and I did not have to sign for it.
